A Man Can Change a World

One Man Can Change a World

When I was five years old, my mother told me

That happiness was the key to life. When I went to school,

They asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down

They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them

They didn’t understand life”.

John Lennon

The world is the entire population our world as all humans understand it.

A world is our world, our place our life. Our life in which we live, our life can change the lives of many around us or it can destroy, humiliate or break many around us.

I choose to help and give, I choose this now and I will choose this tomorrow and for the rest of my life I will choose to be happy. Being able to help others and give back in any way in which I can makes me happy. I do not work for I cannot work there is no understanding of work in my life- I cannot drive for my broken brain does not allow me to so therefore I have to find another way to get around and to do. I will not lie down and be a charity case I will be strong and allow my injury to strengthen me. In time I do wish to work I cannot allow my amazing wife to pay all the bills to have 80% of her entire salary go straight to my recovery and I do not give a cent back. We managed to raise money and received donations to get me to New York. New York was not a holiday it was a test for me it was the beginning of the rest of my life. A challenge- it was for me to hurt so that I can stand up to all those in my life who themselves have been knocked down and struggle to get up it was so that for me to be able to help them up I can understand their pain, their hurt in some way.

I have given three motivational talks I now wish to continue with this for I believe I am good at this, perhaps a company would like a broken man to talk to their staff to motivate them to show them that if I could overcome this devastating injury that they can get their attitude together and shine. Perhaps I can pass on my happy vibe to others and help them to understand life…Perhaps.

Next month I will be donating my Thursdays to help in a soup kitchen…Perhaps I can help one man up or two or more…perhaps
